Martha and Milkshakes

Yesterday was one of those days where I didn't have an agenda. I had an appointment in the early afternoon, and after that...I was free. So I decided to check out the new Martha Stewart line at Michaels. I was overwhelmed. The items were so nice, much nicer than I expected. The glitter was glorious...I can't wait to make a project with that. I also liked the bird stamp and the different cutting tools.

I brought home: the bandanna treat bags, paper, ribbon, tags, and a few other things. I am going to make homemade dog biscuits and put them in the bags and hand them out to Toby's friends.

After Michaels, I went to The Dairy Palace near Wilmington, Delaware. I got a banana milkshake with chocolate sauce. It was delicious. They have plenty of other dairy delights if you don't like shakes. Then, I went home planted a few plants and went for a bike ride around town. It was the perfect Spring day.

That Martha display takes my breath away! You'll have to post the dog treat gifts when you make them so we can see! I would love that recipe. What a cute idea. Very creative, and Toby will be so proud to have such a thoughtful mom! Like cupcake day in the first grade!

Sounds like you had a wonderful spring day. As I am reading this post, I found myself getting jealous. I feel so lazy on my days off. I wish I had your desire to get out and just explore. I mean, checkin gout a new shop, a millkshake and a bike ride. I am lucky if I get even one of those in a weeks time. You are an inspiration. Next day off, I am gonna get up early and enjoy a day like you would! Thanks Natalie!
