A Visit to Woodside Farm

Yesterday, I stopped by Woodside Farm in Hockessin, DE to pick up some ice cream for the restaurant where I work. They make our signature flavor, Canal Digger Crunch, which is vanilla ice cream with swirls of caramel and pieces of chocolate covered toffee. When I arrived the gates to the farm were closed, because the sheep were roaming the yard...actually "mowing" the yard. I had to let myself in through the gate to make it back to the freezer. When I was leaving the sheep were close to my car and full of wooly-wool. They were very cute.

If you are ever in the Hockessin area, I suggest stopping by Woodside Farm to sample one of their many unique flavors.
